The day has finally arrived for us to say our goodbyes to Valencia, and what an unbelievable few weeks it has been! I don’t think anyone really wanted the experience to end 🙁
Myself, Daniel and Aoibhín took the metro to the airport while the others were brought by their host families. It was an emotional goodbye as we had all really bonded with our families over the three weeks.
Once we checked and got through security we had short wait before boarding and getting our last bit of Valencian sun.
It wasn’t long before we had landed back in Dublin and had to go our separate ways. All of our parents awaited our arrival and welcomed us back home.
The three weeks in Valencia has been an adventure for us all and given us memories to last a life time-all thanks to CSS Valencia. I thoroughly enjoyed returning to the city as the group leader after 2 years and I miss it already after only being in Ireland a few hours 🙁
