Our highly anticipated March TY Intensive Course students arrived into Valencia last Sunday 23rd March to a warm welcome from their waiting host families. The students enjoyed a relaxing evening settling in before starting into the course on Monday morning.
We welcomed students from a wide variety of counties and secondary schools across Ireland. On the first morning the students spent the morning getting to know their teachers and partaking in a level test so our teachers can better get to know their learning objectives. The afternoon was spent with the Css monitors exploring the old town of Valencia learning about history and the beautiful landmarks such as Torres de Serranos, Plaza de la Virgin and many more.
While the students immersed themselves in their intensive Spanish morning classes with our native teachers, they also have a full busy afternoon timetable with sports workshops, indoor wall climbing, bicycle ride in the Turia park, exploring the Botanic Gardens and finishing off the week with a visit to the natural waterfalls in Montanejos.
We are looking forward to a busy course ahead with lots of learning, fun activities and experiencing the wonderful welcome of our Spanish host families.
