We had breakfast with our host families and said our goodbyes. It was sad to leave them but we all hope to meet with our host families again in the future. We all met at the Benimaclet metro station where we stopped and Vero treated us to refreshments at a café before boarding a metro to the Airport.
We checked in and said goodbye to Vero 🙁 We headed through security and were tight on time so we boarded the plane straight away. Valencia Airport is small so we found our gate very quickly. We took off and waved one final goodbye to Valencia, all of us with the itch to return next year. I was able to spot the City of Arts and Sciences when we were flying over the city! We touched down in Dublin 2 and a half hours later, greeted our parents, and said goodbye to each other! We all had a ball in Valencia and became much more confident in our Spanish skills. I can’t recommend this course enough! I absolutely love Valencia! It has everything! City, beach, natural areas, the most amazing park, excellent bicycle lanes, a great water park and great weather of course!!
