In class, we played a memory game whereby we had to remember what was behind each card, and then match a noun and a verb together. Each team had a captain and the members of that team advised the captain on what two cards to turn over. My team got off to a good start but unfortunately, we were pipped at the post by our fellow classmates!
This was a fun and different way of learning Spanish.
After that, we all met up at the academy at 5pm to head to the beach for a trip out on a catamaran to watch the sun set at sea! Me and Leena headed off to get food with some of the other students, while Iseult and Ione headed to the beach to catch a bit of sun and to go for a dip! We all then met up at 6:30 beside the port where we boarded the boat and headed out. The boat was slow but the time flew by as all of us were socialising and practicing our español. It was a cloudy evening and so we couldn’t get a full view of the sunset, but the sun did pop through the clouds for a few minutes, just enough to get some great pictures. We had great craic with our friends on the Catamaran! We sailed back to port and popped back to the tram stop where we made our way back to Benimaclet, we all then went our separate ways to have dinner with our families and then hit the hay. This is an activity that I would definitely do again!
