Our April 2026 Transition Year group are into their last few days, and how time has flown by!
The students are working well in their morning classes, and Spanish teachers Jaime, Will, José and Laura all report good progress, with everyone becoming more confident in using Spanish as the weeks go by.
Our classes are designed to provide students with as much speaking practice as possible. This can be difficult for some students at first, as they are not used to classes conducted exclusively in Spanish. However, as the students become more used to their teachers and the format of the classes at CSS Valencia, their fluency improves.
The afternoon activities and excursions keep everyone busy. So far on this course, activities have included a walking tour of the city centre, surf lesson, cycling in the dry riverbed, creative art workshop, indoor climbing, sports circuit, a visit to the world famous City of Arts and Sciences and Oceanographic, the waterfalls of Montanejos, a visit to an adventure park, Mestalla football stadium tour and the Botanic Gardens Tour and Workshop.
And there are more activites to come in the final week!
Students finish the activities at 7pm every day, and then it’s back to the host families for dinner and some well-deserved rest.

CSS TY April course starts with 30 students in Valencia
