Our October TY Intensive course has just finished, and what a time we had. The mix of morning classes with afternoon activites was very popular with the students. Spanish teacher Patricia Rubert was happy to report that all students made great progress with their language skills, and are well set up for the demands of the Leaving Cert Spanish course.
We kept the students busy every afternoon. The beach was as popular as ever with the Irish students, and other activities included art and dance classes, sports activities, making paella, cycling to different parts of the city, going to the cinema, a catamaran tour, visits to villages outside Valencia, going to visit local schools, and a full day excursion to Port Aventura.
6 of our group have returned home, while the remaining 5 students are staying on for another month and are about to begin the TY Secondary School course.
