What a three weeks we have had. The time flew by, and everyone seemed to enjoy the course.
This week we went back to the beach, went to the historic Mestalla (Valencia FC’s stadium), caught a film in the local cinema, had art and dance activities, spent Friday afternoon in the Oceanographic de Valencia, and went to Cullera to a waterpark on Saturday.
Friday was the last day with the teachers in Spanish class. Congratulations to the students whose behaviour in class was respectful at all times. The Spanish teachers mentioned to us on numerous occasions how happy they were with the atmosphere in class. On Friday we went to our local park to present the end of course certificates to all the students.
Gaby flew back with the group on Sunday evening, where the students were met in Dublin airport by their parents.
Well done to everyone – staff at CSS, monitors, teachers, host families and students – for making this a trip to remember.
