Our first groups of TY students for 2019 have been arriving to Valencia during the last few weeks. On Saturday, February 23rd Asia was met at the airport by her host family and by Liam from the Centre of Spanish Studies Valencia. On the 4th of March, after a very very delayed flight, the next students arrived. Marcus, Emma and Eoghan escaped the snowy Dublin and joined Asia in enjoying the good weather in Valencia. And on the 10th of March, Lauren and Declan joined them, just in time to enjoy big local festivities of Las Fallas.
The students will be in Valencia until mid April and have all settled well in their new school in Torrent, a suburb of Valencia. The school is a small, mixed-sex secondary school with excellent sporting facilities and a very friendly character that started welcoming Irish students with us last year.
