Css Valencia were very excited to welcome members of ATS Irlanda to Valencia for an all inclusive trip last weekend.
Rodica Darii, Freda Carr and Elaine Powell are all members of ATS Ireland – the Association of Teachers of Spanish. CSS Valencia attended the ATS Ireland annual conference last October and selected the three lucky winners of the competition we held at the event.
Over their two day visit to Valencia, we wanted to show the teachers some of the sample activities we do with the Irish secondary school students who attend our Spanish Transition Year Intensive and Spanish Summer Courses. As well as taking part in walking tour of the historic centre of Valencia, we explored the beautiful Botanic Gardens with their entracing walled gardens where our Irish students have the opportunity to engage in an interactive workshop. We also experienced the culinary delights of the infamous Mercado Central where the local Valencian specialities are on display for a dazzling experience of the senses. The teachers took time to visit the CSS Valencia premises to check out where all our Transition year courses take place.
This was an enjoyable few days exploring Valencia together, and we look forward to seeing them again at this year’s ATS Ireland conference in October 2025.
