Today was our last day of classes and we were so sad to say goodbye to our teachers and our classmates! We each got a certificate indicating our participation in the course and our level of Spanish. We took lots of pictures and I must admit I’m going to miss the classes! Mícheál and Evie said they wished their classes were the same in Ireland! I know I definitely enjoyed mine!
My Spanish mother invited the three of us for lunch in my house because the Italian girls who also live with me are leaving early tomorrow morning. We had fideuá, which is similar to paella but made with small pieces of pasta instead of rice. It was delicious! I’m going to have it again for dinner!
We had a free afternoon so Evie went shopping with the Italian girl who also lives with her Spanish family, while Mícheál and I rented bicycles and cycled out to Port Saplaya where we got an ice-cream and left the bicycles in the garage of Mícheál’s Spanish family for safe keeping! We’re going to return them on Sunday because tomorrow we’re going to Terra Mitica, a huge Egyptian and Greek themed Amusement Park! We can’t wait!
