Another week of classes finished! Time is flying by here in Valencia. After classes today we had 4 hours to do as we pleased. As my parents were over, I decided to spend this time with them and showed them around the city. We got some tapas before I headed back to the meeting point for today’s activities.
We went to the port and all boarded onto a catamaran. We got to sit on the nets with the water beneath us. There were lots of splashes and some got more wet than others. Myself, Daisy, Abby and Aoibhín lay down and relaxed and tried to take some pictures of the blue sea, while avoiding the splashes! Overall we spent about an hour on the boat and saw some great landscapes. The boat moved really fast over quite choppy water which it made it very enjoyable. Luckily nobody was sea-sick!
After the trip out to sea we had the option of going to the beach for a while or heading home if we were tired. We were all exhausted and decided heading home was the best option for us all.
David’s parents are still over so he chose to spend the afternoon with them as Friday activities are optional. They went out for dinner and had a lovely time in the city.
