It’s so hard to believe that we’re well into our third week here in Spain. It’ll be no time before we´re returning back home to Ireland 😢
Today after classes, we went to a local waterpark, Benicalap. We got on the tram and it was just a few stops away.
When we got there, as usual, Daisy jumped straight in to get out of the heat. Luckily, today, we had the action camera with us so we could get some funny videos on the slides and on the tarzan jump. The park was packed and there was a dance class going on as well that nobody was brave enough to join and show off their moves.
After a few trips on the slides, Alba, Abby and I decided to sunbathe before the park closed. Aoibhín and David stayed in the water for the whole time until the lifeguards blew the whistles and told everyone to get out as the park was closing. It was the relaxing afternoon we needed after yesterday’s action-packed canyoning in the river. An early night was definitely on the cards for us all.
As it was my parent’s last night here in Valencia, I went out for tapas with them in a beautiful restaurant called Casa Montaña which is quite close to the beach. It was really tasty and there were so many different dishes to try.
